Stollies tapas menu 

3 tapas dishes for £15 or 5 dishes for £20. Add a bottle of our house wine to this deal for only £10. All dishes £6 individually. Max 2 prawn dishes per deal.

 

Fish

Calamari– Fried rings of calamari in a paprika seasoning served on a bed of fresh leaf garnished with citrus aioli.

Tempura prawns– whole shelled prawns in a crispy tempura batter tossed in Szechuan pepper and chilli jam.

Crab cakes– Fresh white crab meat mixed with shallots, fresh dill and lemon juice in a trio of  potato cakes lightly fried served with baby salad and lemon aioli

Gambas pilpil– Whole shelled king prawns cooked and served in a sizzling chilli and garlic oil. (gf)

 

Meat

Paella mixta– Chicken, chorizo and fresh vegetables in saffron paella rice finished of with a king prawn and lemon wedge. (gf)

Chorizo with honey– Sautéed chorizo tossed in honey and paprika then caramelized and served in a light red wine jus.

Salt and pepper tempura chicken– Strips of chicken breast in a light crispy tempura batter tossed in Szechuan peppers and onions garnished with spring onion.

Polpettine– Delicious trio of homemade Sicilian meatballs roasted in red wine and garlic then smothered with a rich tomato sauce.

Black pudding– Grilled goats cheese sandwiched between 2 slices of black pudding glazed with chilli jam.

 

Vegetable

Patatas bravas– Deep fried cubed potato cooked until golden brown then pan fried with peppers and onions tossed in a smoky bravas sauce and garnished with garlic aioli.

Paella verduras– Vegetarian paella cooked with peppers, petit pois, onion and artichoke.

Grilled garlic mushrooms– Field mushrooms sautéed with garlic, chilli and coriander served on top of toasted bread.

Goats cheese and courgette– Sautéed courgette mixed with crumbled goats cheese glazed with chilli jam and served with sea salt crostini.

Juicy buttermilk chicken breast coated in a bacon frazzle breadcrumb with homemade baconaisse, mature cheddar all resting on a hash brown with lettuce and tomato. 11.5

 

Nacho libre

Cajun spiced chicken breast burger with cheese sauce, smokey salsa topped with crunchy tortilla chips 11

 

Halloumi burger

Halloumi marinated in olive oil, garlic, lemon and fresh parsley served on crispy lettuce, fresh tomato ,grilled onion and topped with avocado (v)10
